With a deep-rooted love for animals and years of experience behind us, our team is dedicated to making sure your pets are happy, healthy, and well cared for. Whether it's a leisurely dog walk, a cozy house sit, or a quick drop-in session, your pet will be treated like one of our own. We’re a small but mighty team of three, based in Derby, with backgrounds ranging from vet work to pet studies to years of doting pet ownership. We know how much your furry (or scaly!) friends mean to you, so trust us to bring the love, attention, and detail they deserve. But it’s not just about looking after the animals – it’s about building a community! We love keeping things fun and personal, with our Pet of the Month features, seasonal surprises, and thoughtful house-sitting gifts. Meet The Team
Alice has been working for Wags N Whiskers since April 2024 as the Owner and Senior Pet Companion
She has worked in a busy veterinary environment which gave her experience dealing with emergencies and animal handling. She dispenced medications and assisted in the pharmacy as well as completing pet first aid. She also has a dog walking and pet sitting diploma and is working towards becoming a grief coach for pet loss. Alice is also a business coach supporting other business owners in the industry.
She is fully insured and covers all areas in Derby.
She offers dog walking, visits and house sitting services.
Sue has been working for Wags N Whiskers since October 2024 as the Senior Dog Trainer and Pet Companion.
She has over 3 years of experience working in canine rescue. Sue also has a level 4 diploma in canine welfare, training & behaviour and canine first aid emergency care. Sue also has experience in home boarding and working in a Kennels / Cattery.
We are also launching her first training packages for puppies very soon!
She is fully insured, DBS checked and covers Chellaston and surrounding areas.
She offers dog walking, visits and house sitting services (House sitting up to 4 nights maximum).
Tasmin has been working for Wags n Whiskers since February 2025 as a Pet Companion.
She has certifications in Dog Training and a pet sitting diploma. Tasmin also studied dog law and has a pet first aid certification.
Tasmin, in the future, also wants to use her training knowledge to create a brand new service for Wags N Whiskers (TBC).
She is fully insured, DBS checked and covers Alvaston and surrounding areas.
She offers dog walking, visits and house sitting services.
Lauren has been working for Wags N Whiskers since February 2025 as a Pet Companion.
She has worked as a professional Dog Walker for over a year, has a canine health and first aid certification and is also trained in Dog Grooming (Level 2).
We're excited for Lauren to offer grooming services very soon!
She is fully insured, DBS checked and covers Mickleover and surrounding areas.
She offers dog walking, visits and house sitting services.
